The Dorian Scott Syndrome (Various Recordings)
From the Dorian Scott MySpace page:
"The Dorian Scott Syndrome performed for a number of years in Boston, from 1993-1999. Our shows were known for extraordinary displays of emotion & dynamic extremes. Known as somewhat of a throwback to 70's glam-rock bands, the D.S.S. (as we still sometimes refer to it) was doing something in the mid 90's that has since become a bit fashionable. References to T. Rex, Pink Floyd, David Bowie & Mott the Hoople were bandied about, as well as a few very unfortunate comparisons to the Smashing Pumpkins. The definitive line-up of the band included Shawn Marquis on drums & Greg Campagna on guitar--bass duties were taken care of by a revolving door of wonderful musicians. I moved to Chicago in 1999 and, after playing in a number of other bands here, have since resigned from playing live shows. I will now be creating & recording exclusively as a solo musician; look for new recordings on this page in the coming months. Thank you to all those with whom I've had the pleasure of playing music over the years. I'd especially like to thank Shawn Marquis & Greg Campagna for the years of exquisite cacophony--those were the most musical moments in my life. - Dorian Scott, 2007"
